Sophie's Run

On a rainy Saturday many people can out for the annual Sophie's Run. Sophie is a member of our community who has Williams Syndrome. Do you know anything about Williams Syndrome?? Check out http://sophiesrun.com/ for more information about Sophie, Williams Syndrome and the amazing run used to raise awareness of Williams Syndrome.

This year I was lucky enough to be a sponsor for the event. I have participated in this run for a few years with my family. We met Sophie in Kindermusik class with Teacher Sue (Who by the way is an amazing teacher!). Since meeting Sophie and her amazing family we have been inspired to participate in this event!

When Sophie's mom asked if I would take photos at the event I was honored. I hope you enjoy the photos captured from the event. You can truly see Sophie's spirit!

Sophie sings the national anthem before the event begins. Powerful moment.

The beautiful course. Who wouldn't want to spend a Saturday running in this park??

Start of the 5K
Sophie starting the 1K.

Sophie finishes the 1K in a time of 8:28.

Baby "H"

Here she is....

Now I understand how Mrs. "M" had such a beautiful belly. Look at baby "H".... she is simply delicious!

Mrs. "M"

Mrs. "M" is 9 month pregnant in these photos. Isn't she stunning. I can't wait to meet the little one inside. She came down to work one day, so I could take her photos. We were hoping that she would go into labor soon after this photo shoot, but she waited a few more days before she met her baby girl. Stay tuned to see photos of the life inside.

Baby "R"

I first met Nicole about 5 years ago when we both started playing Bunco. Which if you haven't ever played, it is super fun to get out and enjoy an evening with friends and eating good food. Since then she has gotten married and now has given birth to their first child. Baby "R" is beautiful.

Motorcycle Man

Rick has been a great friend for a really long time. I was super excited to meet him on campus and take some photos which he would be able to give to his mom for her birthday!

Baby "M"

The other day I had the honor of meeting an amazing woman and her kids. She has three kids all under the age of 5 and on top of that, she is a child care provider. The amount of energy she must expend in a day is unthinkable! Only a special person is made to do that! Baby "M"'s mom is that one. And don't you think this little love bug is edible!

I can't wait to shoot her entire family in the spring outside. It is going to be fantastic!
